Request for Career Advice and Guidance Sir

Respected Sir,

I am a regular reader of your knowledge enriched mails.

Sir I am pursuing MBA from SMU. My problem is that i get to know (after seeing the ugc site) that smu is a private university as per the list of ugc.
However SMU is recognized by ugc, and MHRD and they are claiming in their prospectus that it is a State university.

Please solve my query whether doing MBA from SMU is worth while and safe-secure investment of time and money.
Can i apply for govt jobs i.e. UPSC competition etc. on the basis of SMU degree.

Sir I am feeling very dishearten and very much in state of insecurity and confusion.

Waiting for your reply Sir.

Thanking You Sir

Dear, recently I have talked you on the mobile. You have told me that you have cleared first semester from this university. I want to tell, if private universities will follow the guidelines of UGC, then there is no problem. Your career after doing MBA from private universities is safe. But, in future, if they will not follow the rules of UGC, UGC may disconnect his relation. At that time, your career may be in risk. So, my advice is to new graduates that they should prefer central and state universities for doing MBA. UGC's official site has shown its list at here and here.
