 If you have subscribed the basic G suit, one question will in your mind what is extra which is not in free google products. If it is paid subscription, then free has almost everything which is paid like free gmail, free google drive and free meeting. For learning benefits G suit basics, you have to go deep. 

Following are the main Benefits of basic G suit. Now its name is also Google workspace. So, same benefits of it.

Google connects your domain name brand with his gmail if you pay monthly to Google through its subscription plan of G suit. For example, I give my customer my email azad@krantikari.org or conversation of email through this brand email. Google has hosted my domain with his email system. In other words, google takes charges email hosting like if you have the mobile, you have to pay monthly mobile charges. I do not need to give azad@gmail.com. Gmail is not my brand. It is brand of Google and everytime, if I will show, Google will promote if I will take the service of free gmail. Do, you know google take google ads fees if it promote your brand. This is also indirect way of his advertising fees for promoting your email brand. 

  2. Use the Power of  Google Admin Tools                                                                        

Google does not provide the advance tools which its gives in Google Admin. Like manage users, groups, account setting and logo of company, custom urls in account setting, admin role, organisation unit, building and resources and data migration and devices manage.

Some issues with personal @gmail.com accounts is that when they use it for business purposes, there is a high chance that their emails will be marked as spam by the recipients system if you send more emails in a single day than a limit.  ut with G Suite Basic, you can set up email authenticators to prevent that.

  4. Use the Power of Group Email                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Suppose, you have the group of 1000 customer emails. Add it in google admin group. Add yourself also in same email. With this, you will also get email and send email two each group member. 

For example, I have made the group Classroom Teachers Group  at its single email  classroom_ teachers@krantikari.org Group in google admin. and added emails of its memebers. 

Allow members outside your organisation and set also who can join group as only invited users. 

Now, I will send the email to group with its one email which has 1000 members when you open your domain email, and write email, it automatically open your group. 

and this email will reach 1000 members. It is not possible in your free gmail. You can send 20 such groups. This is the power of google admin. Moreover, you can unlimited members in a single group. You still need to follow the Gmail sending limits, which is 2000 emails per day for G Suite (Google Workspace) accounts.

But the good thing when sending emails in a group address, it is only counted as one.

  5. It Gives Organisation Unit Setting                                                                                                                                                                                     

5. Organizational Units is being used to separate Admin settings, or more like sort each user accounts depending on how you want them to get their access. It is useful for those who have many user accounts.

Let's say you G Suite (Google Workspace) account has 10 user accounts, 5 for Unit A and 5 for Unit B.

Both Units A and B can access Gmail, but if you wish only Unit B can access Drive, you can turn off Unit A's access.

Then other settings like that. It is more on creating an Admin settings rule and you will get the option which unit will be impacted.

But if you only have 1 user account, Organizational Unit is not that useful.

I have still  azad@krantikari.org one user account. So, I can not take its benefit but if I will more domain and more domain email in single google admin, I can take this benefit also.
