# Learn Financial Freedom Step by Step

One of great benefit of measuring company performance is to know whether company is going to good direction for achieving its vision and dream or not or there is need of change its plan, so, we can get better performance for achieving its goal.

Base of Measuring Company Performance

Compare is the great tool to measure company performance

1. We have to compare its current performance with its past performance

2. We have to compare its performance with other companies or whole industry.

So, today, we are explaining Simple steps to measure of Company performance

1st Step : Measure the Accounting Performance

A) Balance Sheet Performance

Main aim of measuring balance sheet performance is to check whether there is increase the net worth or not from past years

Networth = Assets - Liabilities

Previous Year Networth = 1000 - 500 = 500

Current Year Networth = 2000 - 1000 = 1000

Increase in Networth = Previous year net worth - current year net worth

Increase in Networth =  1000 - 500 = 500

It means, in this year, we have gained profit and we invested in the assets whose value has increased. So, this current year our net worth became 1000 Crore which is double of 500 crore.

B) Revenue Performance

Our Revenue of this year is 5 Crore and our competitor revenue is 4 Crore. This is measure that we are growing fast than our competitor.

If our previous year revenue is 2 Crore, it means we have increased our revenue 3 crore which is another dimension  of measuring our revenue performance. Same date, we can find our current year and previous year income statement. Our company's revenue detail, we can find from their financial statements

C) Market Capital Performance

Its simple measure, we can explain

Paytm IPO came in the market on 18th Nov. 2021 with value of Rs. 1560 and Now, we are near Dec. 18 and today is Dec. 13 and 10th Dec. was working day and its price was Rs. 1564, it means market capital performance about one month is Rs. 4 increase per share

More increase in the share price in the market, means company is performing good because shareholder want to buy its share at high price because demand boom.

D) PE Ratio

PE ratio means price per share divided by earning per share. From company point of view IF PE ratio is high, it means even less earning, shareholder is interested to buy share with expectation that value of share will increase. For example for A company it is 10, it means for earning Rs. 1, shareholder invest Rs. 10 but other B company is Rs. 20, it means for earning Rs. 1 , shareholder invest Rs. 20, now, B company is performing better because its investor want to buy share at Rs. 20 for earning Rs. 1

Important

We are not calculating this from shareholder point of view, if less pe share shareholder buy, it means, he is buying under value share which is benefit of shareholder which is the part of shareholder's performance.

2nd Step : Measure the Customer Gaining Performance

If you want to measure the company performance, check company's power

a) No. of Repeat Sales

b) Average Rentention time of customer

If customer will spend time with you more, it means you are performing great

If customer does not spend time with you more, it means, you are performing less.

3rd Step : Employees Performance

There are following ways to measure the employees performance

A) High performance means, you have increase your HR Power. You have all types expert in your team.

Compare current no. of employees and past no. of employees and other company no. of employees.

B) High performance means productive your employees

Total sales / total no. of employee

100000 /10000 = Rs. 10 sales per employee

This previous day data

Current day data is

1000000/10000 = Rs. 100 sales per employee

Today employee is performing better
