Step 1: Login to the IPPB Mobile App

1. Open the IPPB Mobile Banking App on your smartphone.
2. Enter your MPIN (Mobile Personal Identification Number) to access your account.
3. If you have forgotten your MPIN, you can reset it by following the app’s instructions.
4. To avoid such issues in the future, save your MPIN securely in your mobile’s notepad or a password manager.

Tip: Always ensure that your mobile number is linked to your IPPB account so you receive OTPs and important updates.

Step 2: Add Money to Your IPPB Account

Before making deposits into your RD accounts, you need to ensure that your IPPB account has enough balance.

How Much Money to Add?

• If you have two RD accounts and each requires a ₹1,000 monthly deposit, you need to add ₹2,000 to your IPPB account.

Ways to Add Money to Your IPPB Account

There are two main methods to add money:

1. Using POSB Swipe-in (Post Office Savings Bank Account)

• If you have a Post Office Savings Account (POSB), you can transfer money directly from POSB to your IPPB account using the Swipe-in option available in the app.

2. Using UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)

• You can also transfer money from your bank account to your IPPB account using Google Pay or any other UPI app.
•  There are two ways.

•  Either send request through IPPB or send through google pay upi. For this, you have to generate the upi of your post office. In my case, it is mymobilenumber@upi

Once the money is added, you can check your balance in the Recent Transactions section of the IPPB app. This ensures that your funds are available for RD deposits.

Step 3: Deposit Money into Two Recurring Deposits (RDs)

After ensuring sufficient balance in your IPPB account, follow these steps to deposit money into your two RD accounts:

1. Open the IPPB Mobile App and go to Post Office Services.
2. Select Recurring Deposit (RD) Menu from the list of services.
3. Your RD Account Number(s) and DOP Customer ID will be displayed on the screen.
4. Enter the RD account number and DOP Customer ID for the first account.
5. Enter the deposit amount (₹1,000 for each RD account).
6. Review the details carefully and proceed.
7. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number.
8. Enter the OTP and confirm the transaction.
9. Repeat the process for your second RD account by entering its details.

Once the transactions are successful, your money will be deposited into both RD accounts, and you will receive a confirmation message.
